The Wyomissing Area High School Chess Team competes in the Berks County Chess League, the Pennsylvania State Scholastic Chess Championship as well as other local tournaments throughout the year. We meet each week to play and review games as well.

High School chess club members & anyone from the community of all ages are invited to play at the Wyomissing Public Library from 10 am - 12 noon on Saturdays Mar 17, Apr 14, Apr 28, May 19, Jun 2, Jun 9, Jul 7, Jul 14, Aug 4, Aug 11, & Aug 25. Please come out and support this new club. No registration is required. Bring your own chess set & clock if possible.

Again, we won the Berks County League with an undefeated year for the second consecutive year! This is our 14th county championship, the most of any team in the County for the past 40 years. See the Berks County League website for details.
