The Wyomissing Area High School Chess Team competes in the Berks County Chess League, the Pennsylvania State Scholastic Chess Championship as well as other local tournaments throughout the year. We meet each week to play and review games as well.

PARENTS: Don't add yet another video game to the collection. A $20 tournament chess setand a $26 chess clock are gifts that will last a lifetime. Players with their own tournament-approved chess sets take more pride in their chess game and will not have to borrow beat up school sets. New players are invited to join the team throughout the school year. As long as you are a 7-12th grade student at the Wyomissing Area High School.

Permissions slips for the Mar. 5-7 State Championship Tournament are due by Feb. 1.
