graders at the Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School in Wyomissing,
PA.
The club is an affiliate
member of the United States
Chess Federation.

The goals of the Wyomissing Chess Club are:
- to provide an opportunity for fun, recreational chess.
- to develop students' self-confidence, mental focus, logic, discipline, & analytical abilities.
- to develop students' sportsmanship.
- to provide an opportunity to excel in tournament competitions.
- to teach the rules, vocabulary, history, & culture of
the world's oldest sport, chess.
